Sadara has begun full commercial operations at its new chemical complex in Jubail Industrial City II, Saudi Arabia – the world’s largest integrated complex of its kind ever built in a single phase, with 26 state-of-the-art manufacturing units, over 3 million tons of capacity per annum and an investment of about US$20 billion. Sadara supports Saudi Arabia’s industrial and social diversification by extending key value chains downstream and generating thousands of employment opportunities, both through the complex and through the adjoining PlasChem Park.

and the Protection of Our Planet are goals of our corporate culture and are reflected through Sadara’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct. It is this Code of Conduct and the ability for both Company employees and outside entities to report potential violations of the Code that guides our behavior both within and outside of our work environment. It is our responsibility to reflect the best examples of a corporate citizen to not only our business associates, but also to our families and friends; and in that way, Sadara will help lead the way to positive change. LIVING OUR VALUES Sadara’s Code of Conduct (“Code”) applies to all Sadara employees, to our contractors and to our vendors, as well as to our joint ventures, affiliates or subsidiaries, if any, which adopt the Code. Throughout this document, references to Sadara or the Company shall apply to all such entities. EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILITY During the course of normal business, each one of us will be faced with situations where the right answer may not be obvious. The Code can guide us, but it cannot address every circumstance. Our first responsibility in all instances is to avoid even the appearance of improper behavior. We must abide by all applicable laws, live the morals and values of our society, apply our respective personal values, and, when in doubt, seek counsel for guidance and assistance. RESPONSIBILITY OF MANAGEMENT Actions speak louder than words, and we hold our leaders to the highest standard. Supervisors are expected to model appropriate behavior, ensure that employees have the resources they need to conduct business ethically, encourage discussion and be responsive to any verbalized concerns. We expect our Supervisors and management to live up to and maintain the trust that has been bestowed upon them by the Company and its Shareholders by demonstrating and exceeding the standards of ethical behavior. SPEAK UP One measure of commitment to our Values is how we treat each other. As employees, we have an obligation to behave in a manner that protects our business interests, our reputations and each other. This obligation includes taking action to promptly report any conduct inconsistent with the Code, our Values or the law. Even if the facts of the situation are not entirely clear, each of us still has an obligation to report an incident of concern. All reports of misconduct are taken seriously and will be treated confidentially, consistent with a full and fair inquiry. RETALIATION for reporting potential violations We respect those who raise concerns about suspected improper conduct. We understand that it can be a difficult and emotional decision to come forth and speak up. Sadara therefore has a ‘No Retaliation’ policy. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a potential violation in good faith. To make a report, you may submit an anonymous report via the web page’s Anonymous Report form, send an e-mail to the EthicsHotline@sadara.com, or send us the information to the address listed on the right of the page. THE LAW, THE CODE AND COMPANY POLICY Sadara has detailed policies in many areas covered by the Code, and has adopted various industry and external best practices. As a global company, we must follow the laws of many countries and jurisdictions. If a section of the Code conflicts with applicable local law, then the local law takes precedence. Please consult the Law Department or the Office of Ethics and Compliance if you have any questions about local laws, the Code and other Company policies. SUPPLIERS Sadara is determined to be known as observing and setting the highest standard for ethics and business compliance. Sadara has established its fundamental principles of sustainability and best practices in the industry. Sadara is affiliated with companies worldwide and is fully committed to the very highest standards of business integrity. We believe that it is critical to our joint success that Sadara and Suppliers maintain the highest ethical standards and be aware of, and adhere to, all applicable laws and regulations. Our business relationships are founded on trust. Sadara has zero tolerance toward violations of our Code of Conduct, law and regulation, conflicts of interest, or even the appearance of one, in any dealings. As such, Sadara and its Suppliers are required to conduct themselves with the highest standards of honesty, fairness and personal integrity at all times. In addition to our Company Code of Ethics & Business Conduct, Sadara has the Suppliers’ Code of Conduct which more specifically addresses our relationship with our suppliers.

PlasChem Park

Sadara’s products will complement inputs available locally from other petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia and will enable downstream industries based on polyurethane, amines, solvents, polyethylene, propylene glycol and other products. Contact us: plaschem@sadara.com

PlasChem Park

Sadara and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu are collaborating to establish a world-class industrial park for chemical and conversion industries. Called PlasChem Park, the twelve square kilometer site in Jubail Industrial City II is located next to Sadara’s new manufacturing complex and will be devoted exclusively to chemical and conversion industries that make direct or indirect use of Sadara’s products and raw materials from other suppliers. The site will consist of two main sections: the Chemical Park and the Conversion Park.

PlasChem Park

Sadara will be the only chemical company in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to use naphtha as a liquid feedstock. This will open the door for many exciting, new molecules that will result in many new downstream applications.
