Dr. Faisal Al-Faqeer joined Sadara Chemical Company as Chief Executive Officer in October 2017, bringing with him over 23 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, having previously led different functions in within Aramco, including in Engineering Consulting Services, Research and Development, Refining and Gas Operations. Manager of Ras Tanura Refinery, a complex refinery with a capacity of 550 thousand barrels per day, making it the largest refinery in the Middle East. Prior to joining Ras Tanura Refinery, he led Aramco Research and Development Center where he was responsible for establishing different research satellite centers in North America and Europe.
Dr. Faisal holds a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Ahmari
Dr. Abdullah was appointed VP of Business and Services for Sadara in March 2018. In this role, he is responsible for four main functions, namely, Information Technology, Procurement, Site Logistics and Commercial. Dr. Abdullah also serves as the Engagement Lead for Third Party agreements with the Jubail Royal Commission, Saudi Rail, King Fahad Industrial Port, Jubail Commercial Port, and other major Sadara stakeholders in Jubail.

Deputy Minister of Supply and Operations from 2015-2017. His responsibilities included procurement, contracting, warehousing and logistics, as well as demand planning and supplier relations for 367 hospitals, 2,300 primary care clinics and four major medical cities. Abdullah was a key member of the MOH 2030 Transformation Team and played a major role in transforming his assigned areas, resulting in significant savings for the Kingdom.
Dr. Abdullah joined Saudi Aramco in 1992, working in various entrepreneurial and leadership capacities. His areas of expertise include IT, Supply Chain Management, Contracting, Procurement and Logistics. From 2012-2014, he served as the Manager of Procurement, Contracting and Logistic Services for Aramco Services Company in Houston, USA. Prior to that, he held a number of leadership positions from 2005-2011, serving as Acting Manager of various departments in Saudi Aramco, during which time he led a number of key initiatives, including working on design and implementation of Saudi Aramco’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SAP system. He also served in the management of several strategic projects in the Procurement and Supply Chain Management departments.
Dr. Abdullah served as a Board Member for the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASAO), a Founding member of Saudi Health Investment Holding Company (SEHA) and a member of Saudi Council of Engineers and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Dr. Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran. He has a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hull, U.K., and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership in Information Systems and Technology from the University of Phoenix, USA. Bob Brandt
Bob Brandt was appointed Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering for Sadara Chemical Company in January, 2017, bringing with him over 30 years of international experience in the chemicals industry. He joins Sadara at a critical juncture in the evolution of the company as Sadara moves from construction to an operational company. In his new role, he will be overseeing the commissioning and startup of the remaining facilities at the Sadara chemical complex, in addition to all site operations, including maintenance, manufacturing and engineering.

Farhan M. Al Qahtani
Farhan was appointed Vice President of Industrial Relations for Sadara Chemical Company in November 2017. His area of responsibility covers a wide-range of critical business functions, including human resource strategy development, planning and execution, as well as employee training and development, and all types of government and corporate communications. He is also responsible for overseeing the complex housing and transportation requirements of Sadara’s diverse workforce.

Prior to that, from 2012-2013, he served as Vice President of Industrial Relations for the Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF), where he led Human Resources, Support Services, Industrial Security & Fire Protection and Supply Chain.
Before his tenure at YASREF, he occupied various key positions at Saudi Aramco, including acting Director of Saudi Aramco’s Staffing Services Department and head of the Supplemental Manpower & Contracts Administration Division. From 2005-2009, Farhan headed the Social Insurance & Retirement Affairs Division. He also acted as Assistant to the Vice President of Community Services between 1998 and 2003, he was the Planning Staff Coordinator for the Community Services Administrative Area. From 1986 to 1998, he held a number of supervisory positions in various locations under Community Services.
Farhan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), USA. He also completed various Saudi Aramco leadership programs, including those of the Saudi Aramco Leadership Forum (SALF) and the Manager Assessment Center (MAC).
